Odisha News: ओडिशा में महिलाओं की सुरक्षा पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। कांग्रेस ने आरोप लगाया है कि बीजेपी सरकार के एक साल के शासन में राज्य में महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराध बहुत बढ़ गए हैं। कांग्रेस की महिला इकाई की अध्यक्ष अलका लांबा ने कहा कि ओडिशा में हर दिन औसतन 15 दुष्कर्म के मामले सामने आ रहे हैं। यह खबर गोपालपुर में एक कॉलेज छात्रा के साथ हुए सामूहिक दुष्कर्म के बाद और चर्चा में आई।

15 जून 2025 को गोपालपुर समुद्र तट पर एक 20 साल की छात्रा के साथ 10 लोगों ने कथित तौर पर सामूहिक दुष्कर्म किया। इस घटना ने पूरे राज्य में हड़कंप मचा दिया। कांग्रेस ने इस मामले की जांच के लिए पांच महिलाओं की एक विशेष टीम बनाई है, जिसकी अगुवाई दीपा दासमुंशी कर रही हैं। इस टीम में तीन सांसद भी शामिल हैं। अलका लांबा ने कहा, “बीजेपी सरकार के 11 महीनों में 28,000 महिलाएं और बेटियां अत्याचार का शिकार हुई हैं। अपराधी इतनी हिम्मत कहां से लाते हैं?”
कांग्रेस की मांग, बीजेपी पर हमला
कांग्रेस ने बीजेपी की “डबल इंजन” सरकार पर महिलाओं की सुरक्षा में नाकाम रहने का आरोप लगाया। ओडिशा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष भक्त चरण दास ने कहा कि 2024 में दुष्कर्म के मामले 2,826 से बढ़कर 3,054 हो गए। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि पिछले आठ महीनों में 54 सामूहिक दुष्कर्म के मामले दर्ज हुए। कांग्रेस ने 19 जून को भुवनेश्वर में विधानसभा का घेराव किया और 20 जून को नौ घंटे का उपवास रखा।
विपक्ष और सरकार का जवाब
बीजू जनता दल (बीजेडी) ने भी इस मुद्दे पर बीजेपी को घेरा। बीजेडी नेता नवीन पटनायक ने गोपालपुर घटना की निंदा की और सरकार से सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की। दूसरी ओर, बीजेपी ने कहा कि अपराधियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग ने भी इस मामले में स्वत: संज्ञान लिया और ओडिशा पुलिस से तीन दिन में रिपोर्ट मांगी।
क्या है समाधान?
कांग्रेस ने मांग की है कि महिलाओं के लिए विशेष पुलिस थाने बनाए जाएं और टोल-फ्री नंबर शुरू किए जाएं ताकि शिकायत करना आसान हो। अलका लांबा ने कहा कि शराब की बढ़ती खपत भी इन अपराधों का बड़ा कारण है। ओडिशा की 1.6 करोड़ महिला वोटर इस मुद्दे पर सरकार से जवाब मांग रही हैं।
